EECS 6412 - Data Mining

Description

Data mining or knowledge discovery from databases (KDD) is one of the most active areas of research in computer science. It is at the intersection of AI/machine learning, database systems, statistics, and data visualization. In this course, we will introduce the concepts of data mining and present data mining algorithms and applications. Topics include association rule mining, sequential pattern mining, classification models, and clustering.

Lecture Times

Lectures will be delivered live on Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00-11:30am.

The first lecture will be on Wednesday September 9 at 10:00 - 11:30am.
