Announcements

New announcements will be posted here in reverse chronological order.

Sat Dec 08, 2012

  • The TA tells me that Quiz 3's will be ready on Monday for pick-up. I leave them with the CSE Main Office (LAS 1003) for pick-up in the afternoon.

Thu Dec 06, 2012

  • Based on the comments and relative averages of the various labs (in particular Lab D), I have decided to base your Lab mark on the top 7 lab marks discarding your lowest mark. I have also re-posted all lab marks (including Makeup Labs).

Thu Nov 22, 2012

  • Based on comments I received on the mark updates from Nov 8th, I have gone through the marks carefully and the Lab marks should all be correct now. Let me know if there are still some errors.

Mon Nov 19, 2012

  • Quiz 2's are now available for pick-up at the CSE Main Office (LAS 1003). Marks are also posted to ePost.

Thu Nov 08, 2012

  • I have updated ALL results (Labs, Quizzes, Midterm) and uploaded to ePost - please check your results to ensure that your marks have been recorded correctly. Also I have noticed a few students who have written some labs twice (i.e. there is a mark recorded for LabX AND a mark recorded for LabX-Makeup) - ONLY the mark for LabX will be counted for your final mark (as previously announced - see below for Sep 11, 2012 and discussed several times in class).

Wed Oct 24, 2012

  • As announced at Monday's lecture, midterms are available for pick-up from the CSE Main Office. Midterm results are also available from ePost (use the Grades link on the left side of this page). If you did not do any of the Makeup labs, your results for Labs A - D are posted to ePost as well (use the Labs link at left). Makeup lab results should be available by next week.

Fri Oct 05, 2012

  • Quiz 1's are now available for pick-up at the CSE Main Office (LAS 1003). Labs A, B and Quiz marks are now posted to ePost.

Tue Sep 11, 2012

  • Received this question regarding lab make-up sessions:

I would like some clarification regarding the makeup lab weeks in CSE2021. Do these makeup labs apply only for excused absences (with documentation) or any absence? Thanks in advance.

The make-up labs are intended to allow students who have missed one of the 4 previous labs for whatever reason. The absence does not have to be excused by me or a TA. The make-up labs may NOT be used to improve the mark or re-take a previous lab. Once a mark has been recorded for you for a specific lab it cannot be changed by re-taking the lab in the make-up session.
