Received the following message from Jaspal regarding use of the DE2 boards:

Please inform the students that they must follow the following procedure to borrow and return the DE2 board and related HW..

''To borrow: See me in my room till 4:30 pm to borrow the board/sensor.
To return it..
a) before 4:30 pm, they can return it me.''
b) From 5pm till 10pm, they can return it to monitor (Mehrnaz). Due to the ongoing
work-disruption, prior to returning, students must contact Mehrnaz by sending email to
her at 'fixprism@cse.yorku.ca', indicating their intent to return the board/sensor. She
would reply to the student, indicating when she would reach the Monitor area, to take
back the equipment. After agreeing for a time, students must wait for her, near the
Monitor area.''

• Messge from Uliya Yigit:

Hi Everyone,

For the duration of CUPE strike and/or until the classes and scheduled labs are resumed, the Prism labs in Lassonde Building, LAS 1006, 1004, 1002 will be opened by the EECS tech staff from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, for drop-in only. These labs will remain closed on the weekends.

The labs in William Small Centre (WSC 106 and 108) remain closed as well until the labs are resumed.

Previous schedule of labtest and other booking are being cancelled daily.

• For those who might have missed yesterday's lecture, we discussed the scheduling of the Lab A and B make-up session. The decision was to move the make-up tests to the week after Reading Week (week of Feb 23rd - see sheet 4 of the lecture notes from yesterday). The agenda for the Lab session on the Monday and Friday of that week is also provided in the lecture notes from yesterday (see page 5).

• I realized over the weekend that there are some missing steps in the second part of Lab A. I have added these steps and uploaded the revised Lab instructions to the Lab page. Please use these latest instructions when building and downloading the Nios II processor to the DE2 board.
